Upgraded my BNE DJ992 BNE to SYD last Thursday, very impressed with the service, some of the best I have received, Logged into my Velocity Account to checkin for a flight to Mel tomorrow mornining and No Point and NO SC on the flight as above.

Was originally booked on a Flexi which would have earned 20 SC, Paid my 3,900 points for the upgrade (which was a struggle, call centre girl knew nothing about the promo and it took 20 minutes on a mobile), I expect like I get on Qantas as a Gold, would earn the same as the original fare booked, no more, no less, I have upgraded plenty of times on Qantas to buisness from economy and get awarded the orginal points and SC's. All i can find is "The Fare Rules of your original booking class apply for changes, cancellations, credits and refunds."

Nothing is mentioned at all in the T&C

Not how I think you should treat customers if you want them to come across.....

What is your experience, is this worth a phone call to 131 875 or would i be wasting my time....

Called Velocity Rewards, very helpful, pointed out the error, an was advised sometimes this does happen with Upgrades like this..... points will post in 7 days. Will wait and see......

I also then upgraded my Flight from Melbourne to Sydney in PE, certainly a good product, only one in PE, points posted, as was rewarded with 40 SC for PE not the usual 20 Flexi I was expecting. + 995 odd points for the distance.

Just watch the points closely in your account, I wonder if its how they upgrade you or if the telephone person missed a step etc.....
