Upgrade? VA codeshare on EY metal

My wife and I are flying in J on a VA codeshare on EY metal in September. Obviously Etihad Select Upgrade bidding is not available to us but I'm curious whether there is any other upgrade option available for us to try in this circumstance to go from J to F. Any thoughts or feedback appreciated.

You could chance emailing them with your EY PNR and see if they can send you a link - [email protected].
Otherwise try a cash upgrade at the airport.

The fact that you are flying a codeshare probably makes this difficult.

However as stated above, you'll need to talk directly to EY to see what your options are. I suspect when they see a VA flight number they won't be able to touch it.
