Gday, I have little/no experience with BA Executive Club except when I was Silver back in the 90's...
I'm flying with my father the the UK on BA tickets in PE and my wife wanted to come along but insisted in getting her cheapest tickets on the flights - I want to upgrade her to PE or Business on these flights.
What are the options for doing this affordably?
1. Buy upgrades with cash? (no idea what this costs, but assume its as much as buying the target fare in cash in the first place)
2. buy avios and upgrade with avios? (no idea what this costs, but noting my avios balance is zero, I would need to get at least 1 point to buy avios
Anything else I should consider?
