Upgrading Classic Reward - Points Club SC earn?

Hi there,

I have booked a domestic economy Classic Reward flight. As a PC+ I earn status credits.

If I put in an upgrade requests on points, will I earn business SCs if successful or economy?

Any insights appreciated!

Upgrades only earn at the original booking rate.

You also need to double check that they actually credit you with the SC. Have had to chase this up once.

Is that definitely the case for reward flights? I know this applies to upgraded revenue bookings.

Yes it’s exactly the same as revenue flight upgrades.
