Good afternoon everyone 😙 I have a return flight ROK - BNE booked for the end of October. When I booked there were no extra/double SC deals. I was able to get Getaway for the return leg but had to go for Elevate on the way down.

Out of curiosity I checked the same dates and times for these flights and noticed that Business is now only $182.11 each way (cheaper than Flex). I booked prior to the new fare classes and what I paid back then is only around $60 dearer return if I upgrade to Business. If I “change” my fares to Business each way (not bid for an upgrade) will I get the Business SC (55 each way) or what I would’ve gotten with my original booking?

Thanks for any help and advice. 😍

Solution
Yeah you'd get higher status credits for paying for the new class instead of 'upgrading'. With the new accelerate status offer, I think you'd end up with 80 SC each way in business.
