Hi all - urgent help

Flying on an AA QFF reward flight in 24 hours and I am unable to check in as it says “COVID-19 details incomplete”. AA seem to have a “Ready to Fly” hub to upload covid-19 documents but it doesn’t seem to work with my booking (screenshot attached). Been trying to call AA but haven’t been able to get through.

Any ideas?

Just check in at the airport

One other thing to try do is check in on a laptop or actual computer and not phone. I can't speak for American but I know on United sometimes their check-in system wouldn't let me check-in via mobile since they didn't recognize Canada as a country (a story for another day)

Thanks! I’ll try on my iPad / desktop site mode

I flew LHR-JFK on BA a few weeks ago. It was hassling me to upload covid documents beforehand which I didn‘t.

I checked in at the airport, they didn’t ask for anything. I never completed the attestation or showed my covid vax certificate to anyone.

I wasn’t asked to show anything on arrival at JFK either.

I thought the attestation was dis-continued a few months ago, though we had to provide one for a trip on 31May this year...

Yup, am flying to the US on Friday and had to complete the attestation. Have printed it out just in case, but did have a rant on the inside about it. :P

I did all that too. QF agent only wanted to see vax cert. Asked if I had ESTA but did not request to see and nothing about the form. Given it's done online I *presume* its shared with CDC/CBP? but hard to know tbh.

On arrival in USA none of that was requested - I get the impression CBP at this point have trusted the carrier to have verified this junk for them before allowing check in and issuing BP (of course they know if we have an ESTA and that part.. hard to know about the Attestation form which seems to be a CDC thing as above).

It all does seem like a bit of a farce at this point tbh.

Confirmed when I flew BA and they didn't even ask me for covid vax or attestation. And I never completed the attestation so I know that was definitely the case.

ESTA is a digital check. In the US it comes up with a "DOCS OK" message on your BP.
