I said I wouldn't post again but I need a favour.

And I've posted the same request on FT; essentially it goes like this. I need to make this booking for my friends within 8 hours.

I owe this friend a big favour, so I said I would take care of these tickets (friend and wife).

I want to know which first class is best to book for them. I know both products are reliable but I'm similarly upset (it's a funeral) so I don't have time to check. Sorry, I can't think straight.

I want recommendations quickly from those who have flown both QF87 and CX138 as to which is better. This is silly I know, but I'd appreciate your advice.

JD.

First class on either airline should be more than acceptable.
Choose the airline thats fits the tight schedule best.

Flight 24 shows QF87 as being serviced by an A330-300. Seatguru shows this as a 2 class cabin (ie no First Class).

You'd need to take QF127 to get First Class, and that's on a 747-400.
