I need be in LA , Dallas and NYC through June then Singapore the last week of June so I assume I need to book SYD>HNL>LAX>DFW>LGA>DFW>LAX>HNL>SYD although do I come back to SYD before SIN -and book SYD>SIN>SYD ? - how do I max SCs needing to go to Singapore the last week of June and the USA the first 3 weeks? BTW - currently WP

You could consider a OW Circle Pacific fare, so a simple itinerary could be like SYD-LAX-DFW-NYC-xHKG-SIN-SYD, or you could maximise segments (you're allowed 16 I believe) and can zig zag all over the place (to maximise SCs) as long as you're within the designated mileage limits of the fare.

Ok thanks Alanslegal - I will fire up a SS and work it through. I assume a OW circle pacific fare is either all Y or all J or can you still get the AA YUPP fares on the USA internal legs?

YUPP fares can only be booked via the AA website, (or a good TA that knows about them) AFAIK.

ow circle fares can be in y , j or f. i believe if buying a J ow circle fare you can choose F cabins in north america where only two cabin flight operates. pls check the rules as im at KFC right now :)

Ok I called QF to get a quote - looks like its around 5k for Y and 12k for J - its a whole new world for me this type of fare so I will need to compare. I would like to use Y then YUPP for the internal USA AA flights anyway thanks for your response...enjoy for lunch
