Looking for return flight to mainland USA around early April, searched all the .au sites averages from 16XX all inclusive.

However switch to US sites such as priceline.com and expedia.com, few airlines such as delta and united are at much cheaper fares from USD 12XX (AUD 13XX)...

just FYI... note Delta two bags free and United 1 bag free and extra at USD 100 each way.

You will find that is true of most markets coming into AU would be cheaper than the same trip in reverse.

no I am talking about the same directions, AU to USA, and USA to AU... still few hundreds cheaper..
