Hi All,

I've been recently upgraded to Gold Status and I have a trip booked to MEX stopping in LAX in 3 weeks time.

I'll have long connection times in LAX (12 hours) - my question is, can I use the Virgin Loft AFTER my flight with Virgin Australia from MEL (while I wait before my flight to Mexico with Aeromexico) or are you only entitled to use the Lounge before your flight?

This is my first time using an international lounge, so I want to make sure I know what I'm doing :)

Thanks

Unfortunately you won't even be able to get to the front desk. Terminal 3 (where the VX Loft is located) security will only let you go airside if you hold a boarding pass for a flight departing T3. Aeromexico departs T5, so that's the only terminal you will be able to access. On the plus side you arrive in T5 so you won't have to haul your bags too far.

There is a Delta Sky Club in T5 which VA Gold status allows you to access when flying onward on DL but they don't do arrivals access.

Dunno, i'm looking at a $62 oneway on AA to LAS in May. ;)
