An F lounge question but I couldn't find an appropriate thread. I have booked a private room in the F lounge next week to use for family prior to SYD-AKL flight. Has anyone else booked/ used these rooms? Is there a cost for the reservation? There was no mention of cost on the telephone and I am unsure if prices on website relate to J Lounge bookings??

There is no cost other than what is required to have access to the First Class lounge in the first place.

It's the same in both SYD and MEL.

Thanks Serfty. I hoped that was the case. Now all Shrek and I have to do is guest in an extra child each. Happy days for the ogres in the F Lounge!

Can anyone remind me what the facilities are in the rooms? Is there a TV? How long can one be reserved for and what's the process to do so? I have over six hours in between a domestic and international flight towards the end of the year and one of these would be appealing.

There is a TV as well as an Xbox or PS2. There is also a toys box with things like building blocks, puzzles, etc for the young ones.

I obtained the information on them from the QF website. Called QF Platinum and asked to be put through to SYD F Lounge. Details checked etc. Not sure how long you can reserve them for.

We were in one with babygr for about three hours due to a delayed flight. The staff were amazing - brought food and drink to us and took orders in the room.

We made up a bed for babygr in the corner of the room and had some quiet time.

We are here, suite1 SYD F Lounge. Compact but well thought out, Shrek the Third on Plasma ( of course) ordered breakfast. Perfect service so far and Lounge staff very welcoming and didn't mention the extra 2 guests. I think this is an excellent way to Flounge with kids.
