Use of two one-off lounge passes for attaining Velocity Silver

Some questions about the two single-use lounge passes received with Velocity Silver (I'm Silver as soft landing from Gold and will be back to Gold soon):

• What happens with any unused passes when I get back to Gold? Are they lost, or do they stay on my account available for a future status drop and/or additional guests? (For comparison, my pool of AAdvantage 500-mile upgrades has grown through multiple cycles up and down of status.)
• Am I correct that I can apply them to another traveller also on Virgin and when I am present, but not allocate them for use in my absence?
• Am I correct that they can only be used on domestic Virgin lounges, and not the House or a Delta Sky Club or anything like that?
