Using FF Mel-HKG return

The FF gods have smiled upon me and I have managed to made a booking for 2 MEL-SYD-HKG-MEL in U in September .

Quick questions:

What equipment operates on QF127 and QF30?

Do you still get the amenities pack for day flights?

Would it be too much to ask for the PJ's?

I am very happy to land the U tickets regardless.

QF127 should be a 744. You will get the amenity kit but I was not offered the PJs.

Good work getting those seats - I couldnt get HKG-SYD in J on CX or QF so have burned points going HKG-SIN-SYD (mind you SIN-SYD is in F )

The premium desk had to send requests to the mysterious yield management gods to get the seats. No complaints from me.

Both are normally operated by Kangaroo route 744's with Skybeds (50J or 52J).

No Pajamas for either flight as they are 'daytime'.

Not offered PJ's on QF179 recently, did not think to ask but nobody had them... and here i was thinking i never flew on routes that had them. must remember that for next time.

Oh ok, so my Jan flight would not have had them... ok i feel better now believe it or not i have just never had a chance to get any... then again not very often i fly J.

At least they were mine until I got home, at which point Mrs Shano claimed them.
