I would like to upgrade using points on Qantas when we take our family holiday however individually we have enough points but not one of us has enough collectively. I have already used my annual allowance of transfers for previous upgrades and even though individually we have enough points (we are all ff members) when I request an upgrade it is saying insufficient points. I had to book us altogether as there are 2 children flying but not sure I can get around this. Any ideas would be welcome!!!

Maybe look at purchasing points to cover the gap between what you have and what you need?

Welcome to AFF lu-lu :D

Unfortunately, online requests are setup to use points from the one FF account for all PAX.

You will need to request the upgrades by calling Qantas international and getting them to set the request manually. This should not be a problem.

When you say you've used "my allowance" for transfer of points. Is that just you or all of you? Can the other family members still transfer points to you?

A QFF member can make one transfer to another member's account. This can be from 5000 upto 100000 QFF points. Once completed the member is not permitted to make any other transfers for 365 days. (366 on leap year?)
