Does anyone know whether QFF points can be used on flights booked through BA.com?
I am a QFF GOLD, and intend to book SYD-UK-SYD through the BA website. But can't find out whether I can use QF points to upgrade Y to T.
Anyone know?

It makes no difference where you book the flight.

You can only use QF FF points to upgrade a flight that is booked using a QF flight number and operated by a Qantas aircraft. And you can not upgrade a flight if its booked as a fare type of N, O, Q or E.

Hi NM, so the One World claim that you can earn & redeem points on any partner airline is rubbish then?

Redeem and upgrade are 2 different things.

You can redeem any flight on Oneworld partner airlines using QFF points as long as you book through Qantas....

No. The claim is accurate. You can earn QF FF points and SCs on BA flights. You can also redeem QF FF points for ward flights on BA. But you can only use QF FF points for upgrades on QF operated flights with QF flights numbers where the ticket booking class is not N, O, Q, E, X, U , A, F, P or R.
