Hi

New here. I have 115 000 Skywards points and am considering using it on a QF domestic flight . Can this be done on the Emirates online or do I need to call them ?

You should be able to book Qantas flights using Skywards miles on the Emirates website. (I believe QF are one of the only Emirates partner awards that can be booked online.)

Log into your Skywards account and go to "book classic rewards". Then click on "advanced search". You'll then be given the option to select "search partner airline flights only". The website should then bring up Qantas flights if any are available.

The Emirates website is pretty clunky though, so some patience is required.

Thanks Mattg. For some reason I can never bring up redemption options from Canberra. I presume this can be done via the call center?

I'm having no problems bringing up flights ex CBR online. Can you give an example of a route that you can't find on the Emirates website?

I've been trying on the app without success but I'll try again when I'm home via the EK website. Which method have you been using?

Thanks. Must be an app problem. I've found it to be quite buggy. I'm pleased to know I can drawdown the measly 19000 points I have left (after flying exclusively with EK in 2017 I have no intention of seeing the inside of their j cabin for a very long time).

Interesting comment, could you mention specific issues (or are you not travelling any more?).

After 6 x CBR - KBL flights in 11 months I got very familiar with the top deck of an EK A380, right down to the same meals, ife which barely changed and on a few occasions even the same staff. I was not hugely impressed by the whole experience and now that I am CBR based again I won't chose to fly them if I can help it. It was nothing I can put my finger on but EK just didn't float my boat.

Fair enough, Thanks for your comments.
