Hi All,

I just noticed a change on the VS website about the above.

Previously they had no J/F redemptions on SQ using VS miles at all.

Now the wording has changed to:

*Redemptions in Business Class and First Class on their A380, 777-300ER and A340-500 aircraft types are not available.

Does that mean we can redeem on the 777-300 refitted? :) Not bad for SYD-SIN-SYD.

Guess you could try; if they knock you back then claim that the * said nothing about the non-ER aircraft. :)

How much are they flogging SQ J and F awards for?

Looks like SYD-SIN-SYD is 85000 miles in J and 130000 in F

That's excellent value if you can get your hands on them (even if YQ is chargeable).

I wondered what would be the point of offering F awards on SQ if you couldn't redeem on aircraft with F on them. Do the older 772s still have the old old "regional" F product?

I'm not sure with the old 772's but the 773-300 has F.

But I have this horrible feeling that VS probably overlooked the 773-300, i.e. forgot to note it down thinking it's the same as the 77W.
