Just spotted this on Jaunted, their writer was brought over to WA on V Australia - and upgraded his ticket and reviewed V Australia's business class menu.

A good review, pics included.

High-Altitude, High-End Dining on V Australia

Let’s be honest, no one looks forward to airline food, but we’re kind of obsessed with it here at Jaunted. No matter how good it is, or how much R & D has gone into making it as palatable as possible, it’s not like eating on the ground. Part of that is because the altitude impairs taste buds, so passengers literally can’t taste much, but the dry, desiccated cabin air certainly can’t be good for the appetite either.

But when flying International Business Class, the highest class of service on V Australia, you can certainly expect some good eats (and drinks!) onboard.

I love how the reviewer had 4 wine glasses lined up behind his meal!

The sale and pepper shakers look cool too, I wonder if they’re for sale anywhere, or if they need o accidentally find their way into your hand luggage ;)

Oh, and the food did look good, although the ginger served with the sushi looked a little odd. Perhaps a problem with the photo and not the actual food.

V Australia dont go to WA, the catering being discussed is on their SYD-LAX flight :

"On the way back from Sydney to LAX"

its that route that should be referenced if you are looking for what sort of experience you will get.

Beat me to that one. I thought the codeshare connection, plus the use of enroute would have made that obvious :|

Your post reads as: "their writer was brought over to WA on V Australia - and upgraded his ticket and reviewed V Australia's business class menu", it could be read as being a review of the entire trip and what to expect, when in fact its a review mostly of the trip LAX-BNE, there is very little mention of the DJ experience, no surprises.

He not only scored an upgrade on the way over here, on the way back he got upgraded to Row 5 after a seat issue - the luck some have!
