VA and EY to share points and SC's

Just had an E-Mail from Velocity outlining their new partnership with Etihad, and it states that Velocity members will receive not only points on any EY flight, but also SC's on all of their destinations.
Velocity gold and silver will also receive exclusive benefits related to their status, including bonus points and SC's, lounge access (gold), priority check-in, complimentary luggage allowance, much the same as Velocity does.
Another way to see the world ?

The partnership was announced a while ago, and is still subject to regulatory approval. As you got the email, I wont bother posting a like to Velocity with the details, as I’m sure you’ve already looked, but it’s been up for a while

Whats not posted is the bonus SCs for status pax.

Whats not posted is the bonus SCs for status pax.

I was wondering about that. SO if you fly on EY in F you end up with 2 SC per mile plus 40% for Gold?
