Trying to change a Flexi online for MEL-SYD, fare cost is $339 (same as original) but I keep getting a message I need to pay $36 for fare difference!

EDIT seems like $35 of this is a 'hold fee'...

Called VA who said it must be a bug and changed it on the spot for me but really really off-putting to have to call to change when paying such a premium for something that should be easy & free to change.

Yep it is definitely broken... The sites generally seems to tell me that i must pay 69 cents for the change, including for lower priced fares!

The call centre does the change no problem.

Had the same changing a flexi, the new flexi was $30 odd dollars cheaper but the system wanted me to pay like $150 fare difference. I had the call centre fix it up but it's annoying and I wonder how many people get caught out

Le sigh...I was trying to build status but just booked QF for the next 4 weeks instead

.....and still broken - honestly, is this really not a priority to fix a problem that keeps impacting customers buying some of your most profitable class of fares?

I might as well just keep booking savers until they fix it!
