Rang the call centre yesterday to check about changing an award booking in April for two. My wife and I weren’t keen to be flying PER-BNE at 6am following a wedding the day before but that was the only available economical flight when we booked. The call centre staff member advised only a single award seat available on our preferred flight. She then said, “hang on, you have a schedule change (by all of five minutes). Let me see what I can do.” A couple of minutes she was back to say she can confirm the change for both of us if we wish. “Yes please!” was the response. Excellent service.

Yes!

VA often only shows one award, and once that’s booked, another may appear. Seems like they might have forced that process!

But that’s a rare win. Well done!
