VA Reduction in Service Perth to Melb

Received an email today advising that my 6AM flight Per-Mel has been changed to 8:30
Looks like Virgin are going from 5 flights a day to 4,

Just checking the "select flights" screen on VA bookings for the first couple of weeks of March, it looks like Mon/Thurs Fri still have 5 PER-MEL flights (at this stage), but Tues/Wed have been reduced to 4.
 
Moving an A330 to Asia?
 
The 5 flights come back in June searches - its probably just usually operational reasons such as scheduled maintenance and/or reduced services due to reduced demand.

March and September are a bit far apart, we live in interesting times, somehow I have a feeling the VS withdrawl is a sign....

Perhaps, perhaps. There are other things that point towards a start in international wide body flying, as much as I believe it unlikely.

This change though is most inconvenient for me...was about to book a flight that no longer exists!
