Next week my husband and I are doing another flight with VA and with the SCs pooled to my account I should finally, for the first time ever, reach silver status :D Not much for a few of you but heaps for me, as I barely fly VA or domestic.

Anyway, I was wondering how long it takes for the status to hit my account and the two additional lounge passes? Will they be there within 3-4 days to use on our return journey?

I was also wondering, if I have gold status and my husband nothing (should hit the account later this year), will the priority boarding and check in be extended to him when we travel together?

Thank you for all the help :)

Call up the membership contact centre right after the flight and have them manually insert the status credits as they will prompt a review, The review will happen between 11pm-1am, The lounge passes will be there as soon as you upgrade but you need to wait 24-48 hours for them to sync with the lounges computer system.

Hope this helps.

Yes, if your husband is travelling with you, you can both get priority check-in and boarding etc with your eventual gold status.
