VA/VS reward availability integration

What happened to the promised reward availability and booking integration with VS?

As the tie-up via HKG never eventuated, when it was mentioned as doable and gonna happen, does this mean that any improvement with links to VA is cactus.

Looking more unlikely now i guess that the DL relationship is dead (and I think DL own the majority of VS?)

I suspected this isn't going to happen anytime soon (if ever)

This was touted as one of the benefits of a VA/VS alliance between Australia and the UK. That strategic alliance is no more.
