Same here. I just came back today from a trip from SYD to South East Asia (SIN-KL-Jakarta) and bought tickets directly from SQ and credited the flights to SQ. I've already secured Platinum for another year with VA. I was very close to going with QF but the price was significantly higher when I looked.
