VA WP review date

My VFF membership started in 04 Oct 2xx_. I reached WP on 24 Mar 2014. The review date is 24 Mar 2015.

If I maintain WP by reaching 800 SC and 8 eligible sectors on 23 Feb 2014, will the new review date become 23 Feb 2015 or will it still be 24 Mar 2015?

I think it should still be 24 March. But I may be wrong.

I believe your reveiw date remains the same no matter how early into the review year you requalify.

As per the Velocity website:
[h=4]Maintaining your level of membership[/h] Once you upgrade to a higher level of membership, you will have 12 months, from the day of your upgrade to your new Review Date, to achieve the required number of Status Credits and Eligible Sectors to maintain your membership.

Based on the above, I read it as if you move up in status your review date will change based on the date you achieve the required sc level however if you are just re-qualifying your review date stays the same. Any excess sc's go towards gifting gold/platinum to partner.

Your review date does not change given you're Plat already, no matter how quickly you are able to re-qual. As noted above once you re-qual and continue to build SC on top of that 800 number you can offer companion Gold membership to a family member or friend ........... The hard target for that is an additional 500 SC so 800 re=qual + 500 additional = you making someone else happy.
