VA Y+ Mel-Lax Lounge Access

Good morning all,

i know that I won't get access to the Koru lounge with Y+ but can I still access VA domestic lounge at Mel (have lounge membership) without there being a domestic sector?

will be at the airport 4 hours before flight as my mum is also travelling to Lax but with QF 2 hours earlier and some lounge access might relieve the waiting pain.

I believe no, there have been reports previously of attempted access in similar circumstances and refusal.

You can buy single-entry access to the Koru lounge if you're that keen. ~AU$55 or thereabouts.

The other day I walked straight into the VA lounge (member only, VFF PS) yet I was booked only an SQ flight. GCC said it was no problem, and when I rocked up, I just used the self-serve entry to avoid any hassles. You should be fine.
