Has any one noted the following when making a booking.

Optional checked baggage charge does not apply to Velocity Frequent Flyer VIP, Platinum, Gold and Silver Members unless additional pieces purchased above complimentary member entitlement.

What is Velocity VIP ?

DJ were playing around with introducing a Chairmans Lounge equivalent tier, but not sure if/when that is being introduced.

Thanks I new they were going to introduce something like CL but thought they were calling it invite+, took me a long time to notice it in the booking terms.

It's most likely "Velocity Frequent Flyer VIP" is just meant to encompass the various status levels.

I was told something similar to this when I was on the phone booking some flights. He wasn't overly convincing but said that they're putting some of their staff through training at the moment and more info will be released when it's ready, but he explained it was just encompassing Gold & Platinum customers with 24/7 service of a better standard or something.

I think this maybe the equivalent of QF CL, and will most likely be invite only.
