Velocity Gold and traveling companions

Having just reached VA Gold I was trying to work out if the various benefits for Gold can be used by traveling companions - by this I mean priority checkin, security lanes, boarding and most importantly premium lounge access.


Does it matter if there is only one companion?

I would have thought these benefits only apply to the Gold card holder but the gold welcome pack refers to family use of priority boarding under the family benefits section.

Yep, I've never had a problem with using the same benefits for a companion. My partner was also put up in row 3 with me this afternoon and used priority boarding etc.

Yes never had an issue with getting the perks for traveling companions.

I'm gold and I've never had an issue either. There was even one occasion recently where myself and 3 companions were put in row 3 while I spotted a Platinum member in the row behind us.

I will join the chorus here. No problem, I am gold and mrs. is red. She was with me each step of the way. Security, lounge, and row 3 seating. Fyi, we also family pool status and points.
