Velocity Platinum Card Free Flight Question?

Got a question for you and it's probably going to be pretty obvious but none the less, does anyone know if you clock status credits on the free flight given out on the Velocity Platinum Amex?

Thinking I might use it to get me over the line for status renewal cause free status credits are amazing haha.

Unfortunately not. I can confirm that those free flights on that card don't earn status credits or points.

You might trying redirecting earn to another partner, like Etihad... Just a suggestion.
