Short note:
We have booked Covermore for our upcoming US trip as they offer 3 Velocity Frequent Flyer points per dollar. Husband is WP so his 100% bonus would result in around 2k points, quite a nice little extra gift.
As we're travelling with our kids, I began adding their FF numbers against each name on the policy. But when I got to the payment page, the fine print disclosed that if all VFF members were using their numbers - the base earn would be divided equally among all travellers and the 100% bonus would therefore be applied to the base rate apportioned to my husband. This would mean far less points netted for our trip. So, I took everyone's number off except husband.
Not sure what the result will be, but it will be interesting to see how many points are awarded.
