Velocity relaunch "weeks not months" away

The "game change program" under chief executive John Borghetti still has some way to run, including a relaunch of the airline's frequent flyer program Velocity which one Virgin Australia official said was "weeks not months" away.

Have an Amex Velocity card on my desk to activate so I am hoping Virgin Australia can finally get their act together. I know it takes time and money.

I'd announce it just after Qantas, as Noob says, great positioing to have Qantas talking about reducing, rationalising and then Virgin can tailor their message to how they are improving and expanding and more to come etc...

My bet is the 24th the same day Qantas start an emotional breakdown , and it is a Wednesday, and Virgin seem to be announcing all there new stuff On Wednesdays, and there birthday is on a Wednesday as well (31st).
