Has anyone had any success booking reward redemptions with Alitalia. I am interested in booking some reward tickets from China to Europe next May after finishing a reposition cruise from Sydney to Beijing. The best option would be to Athens which connects via Rome and fits in the 4,800-5,800 miles section.

Preferably J.

They are listed in table 1 but there is an (note8) next to the business mileage table and when reading they are not listed.

Am I correct to assume that means only Y reward.

I also believe that bookings would need to be done over the phone and not on the Velocity website.

Any other options?

Alitalia filed for bankruptcy in May, so who knows where they'll be next year.
