I seem to be asking a lot of DJ questions of late...

I'm booking my travel for the next few months and I'm trying to confirm exactly how my DJ status renewal works. I'm pretty sure I've got it figured, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'm Gold with a renewal at the end of November. My current Status balance is 300SC with "additional required to maintain by review date" of 180SC. Now I know for an initial qualification that your status lasts twelve months from the month you earn it, however what happens with renewals?

Say I go and earn 100SC in August which will make my balance 400SC, am I then Gold only until the end of August 2012, or do I retain my review date and have my status extended to November 2012? Or if I go and earn 200SC in August (which meets the "required by review date") does the same apply?

I'd like to maximise my status period (never know what the next twelve months can bring!) so if it's going to effectivly cut short my status period, I can stretch my renewal out until November by booking flexi instead of premium (or even saver instead of flexi... or worse still, QF!)
