At the bottom of the "2024 year in review" emails that Velocity has just been sending out, there's a poll that asks if you'll be focusing more next year on status credits or points:

To me, the most interesting part is this:

If you participate in this poll, Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd (Velocity) will collect your preferred 2025 Velocity goal to personalise any potential future offers based on the goal you select.

In other words - if you select a response, Velocity might send you an offer tailored to that next year. Seems worth doing?

Selected Status Credits....will need the assistance next year I think as too much personal travel booked via points!

Thanks for posting about this - I skimmed the email, saw the pictures, got sad I didn't fly (with VA) as much as I thought I had and completely missed the questions at the bottom

I'm in the bottom 90%.

Interesting idea, haven't had an invitation to steer my preferences for the year ahead before from any airline - but how many offers can we expect? We might reach our targets or for some other reason just want to switch, wonder how this will play out.

Ahh - we're flexing!

Top 5%, 30 flights, 35762k's

Preparing to get smacked by the big boys!
only top 10% for me, but points say 386k, obviously from all sources, CC's, insurances.

unsure of hitting the Point or SC button as not chasing WP anymore due to devaluation. But just few thou away from FG so in few many years may get there.

Clicked on SC's - I dont know how many I have since joining in 2008 and thus how close or not I am to lifetime 24K Gold. Alright, I accept that VA's version of lifetime status might be closer to 18 or 14K..

Top 5%, 300k points and 1080 SC's
