I'm a member of Hilton Honors and whilst making a reservation for Hilton CNS I also hired a car (usually do this on QFF but forgot!). The fee, thru the Hilton site was was USD26 per day for a small auto from Hertz. When I got there they upgraded me.
This has also happened in Syd with Hertz but not Mel with Europcar.
Given the exchange rate at the moment, this appears to be a very good rate.
