I didn't know a 777 could bounce that far down the runway

People pay good money to be on a ride like that:lol:

On further look, Narita seems to be a great place for catching a windy landing.

I thought the QF touchdown was actually pretty good! Sure the wings wobbled a bit on approach, but the wheels only touched the ground once. Unlike Korean !

I've done that kind of landing many a time at NRT in the winter... winds are brutal.

And what a complete planespotter - Valentines Day and he's sitting in the middle of freezing bloody Chiba countryside watching the planes come in to land.;)

Now now, it may have been a romantic date for for 2 plane nerds!

Wow. great landings.

Reminds me of a few landings at OLP, including one where the plane hit the deck so hard everyone looked around at each other and were still discussing it while waiting for bags. To get the attention of underground miners like that it must be something special.

You can just picture that date now, a picnic basket with airplane sized bottles of wine, small boxed desserts, and if they're really lucky served by someone dressed in a cabin attendant's uniform while stretched out on on a pair of old J/F seats.
