Virgin America at LAX - do they have a lounge?

I remember in 2009 flying on VA SYD-LAX and connecting to VX LAX-JFK in Business - I was allowed to use Alaska Airlines board room at LAX T3.

I am now flying SYD-LAX on QF and connecting on a business class ticket LAX-SFO on Virgin America - do they still allow use of a lounge or does VX have their own lounge at LAX T3?

J on VX, since when? Thought it was Y or F only , and AFAIK no lounge at LAX.

yes it still First however VX in their inventory codes use "Business" J/D/C/I...

I have a friend flying J class VA SYD-LA-Chicago with the connection on Virgin America and she's not sure what to do in LA on the way there.

VA and VX use the Alaska Airlines Boardroom lounge at LAX. It's basic and has no showers. I've been told by a VA staffer that Alaska Airlines is moving out and they (VX/VA) will be taking over and refurbishing that lounge beginning later this year.

I just got back from LAX earlier this morning (via VX and VA), and while there's construction in the terminal, it doesn't specify what it's related to. It would be nice to see the Alaska Airlines boardroom be converted to a VA/VX lounge. Well overdue.

Head over to In-n-out or something, well thats what I do in the evening after a arvo arrival from JFK before the long trek back home.
