PITA that your number changes with each status level, and had issues trying to work out the security question "when was the last time you flew with VS"
I am RED at the moment with VS, if I changed to silver I will get a new member number correct? If so, will my AMEX transfer to VS still work using my RED membership number? I believe it's a yes but would want to confirm

As a Silver member you will receive extra benefits with Virgin Australia:

Unlikely to ever fly Virgin but figured I'd have a crack. Seems like it would flow across to Virgin Australia.

On the plus side, when it says Premium Economy check-in, I suspect it is an overhang from the Virgin Blue days, and they mean the Business Class/elite queue on domestic flights.
