Bain / VA looking at (re)leasing up to 9x 738s at a favourable rate from the lessors. It's assumed it'll be the 738s that VA has initially terminated the leases on during administration.

Could possibly be a 'blocking' move to stop REX claiming the rest of the 'leased' units. ;)

Being reported that Bain had the negotiating power to claim the remaining 738s back from the lessors at a 'cheaper rate'.

That would be interesting, Rex is certainly going after VA2 with knives and daggers.

Interesting blocking move if it was....

Maybe they can ask Rexy for their planes back nicely ;)

Wouldn’t take much... cabins are the same, WIFI is still there, just peel off the Rex stickers. I suspect that’s how it’ll pan out over the next six months.
