Hello! I have a quick question, I have Velocity Gold status and have an upcoming return trip with Virgin Australia to LA, my booking consisting of only the two international flights, one to LA and one back to Melbourne.
When I log into the Manage Bookings section of the website using my reservation number, it is showing a duplicate flight for each flight and on these duplicate flights the status is 'FLOWN'.
Can someone explain to me what this is and should I be concerned? Thank you.

I have the same thing on mine - you'll probably find it's due to the departure time for the MEL-LAX and LAX-MEL flights being amended. I'm flying in Nov/Dec but hadn't been notified of any time changes - I only found out about it after seeing a discussion on another forum and checking my itinerary via Virtually There. On that website, duplicate flights show up on the itinerary for the MEL-LAX and LAX-MEL legs, with both of the original flight times showing as "Unconfirmed" and the new flight times showing as "Confirmed". On the Virgin website, similar thing - there are duplicate flights and the flight status showing for the flights with the original departure times is "Flown" - confusing, I know. I assume it's just some sort of oddity with the system. (and on the Seat Selection option, I found the duplicate flights show up there as well!).

Yeah, I have the same issue with a booking for March.

I have not bothered calling as the "confirmed" segments are the actual times after the changes.

This happened to me recently as well, albeit in different circumstances.

I turned up at the airport the day before my flight as I wanted to fly ahead (so I can make it to an AFF event). I wanted to time my arrival and stay a little longer at the lounge, so I asked the check-in agent to put me on the 12.50 service instead of the next available flight at 11.50. When she printed the boarding pass, I noticed it was for the 11.50 flight so I repeated my request which she did.

The lounge turned out to be quite small so to pass time I logged into my Velocity account and checked my booking. All 3 flights appeared - the original booking the next day, the 11.50 and the 12.50. At least one of the former 2 had a status of "Flown".

I have the same too for SYD- LAX return and it appeared after the schedule changes.
