Though won't be suprised if they keep the leather, it's cheaper.... Sigh. Still hoping they change!!
 
Some interesting speculation there, though the photos of V Australia’s and Virgin America’s hard product show plastic encasing the whole seat, not just in the middle.
 
I was part of a focus group with DJ reps a few months back, and this came up. They asked if anyone was aware of it and how it performed on VA.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was something they were considering, for business class if not the whole plane.
