I don't think this has been mentioned previously, but booking a car through the Virgin portal, you don't seem to have the ability to enter a loyalty program.
My membership (DJ status matched membership at that) of the Europcar privelege program, offers me a rental discount and vehicle upgrade. If I choose to utilise the DJ portal, I'd lose that discount and the very distinct possibility of an upgrade. No problems, I thought........I'll evoke the DJ Price Promise and have a win here. Upon reading the T&Cs, I note the price promise doesn't apply to membership rates (and presumably membership discounts) so no go with that idea.
So does it transpire that DJ have made that service unusable for a lot of their FFers? Even by inputting my Velocity number, it does not appear to link at all to the (Velocity inspired) Europcar privelege membership resulting in no discount, no price promise and no chance of an upgrade.
Am I missing something here?
