Wow. Thats probably the biggest change I have seen to VA this year. Surely they will raise all Saver fares by 10% to cover this cost?

I would rather a cheaper fare and a buy-on-board for alcohol. Unless its a Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening I dont want to drink alcohol!

Generally flights durring peak 4-7pm tend to sell at alot higher rates than the post 7pm services

This has been the case since January this year. Very nice for my Friday evening flights to Brisbane.

Would love them to do it on a Sunday too.

Yes, has been the case most of the year. Slightly annoying that i always tend to end up on flights after 7 though!

Well it's the first I have heard of it, my flights are usually later than 7pm or first thing in the morning so never heard it announced on-board
