Virgin CC 2 for 1 - Half points only

It seems that flights booked on the 2 for 1 are only eligible for 50% points. Is this correct ?

I booked myself and my daughter using 2 for 1 and points posted as 573 each wilst my wife's points posted as 1145.

This is the first time I have used it so it appears this is how it works. Status credits posted the same as I would usually expect.

Points are posted based on the air fare paid. As the 2 for 1 fares are ticketed as 2 tickets with 50% off each, you only end up with half the points each.

Of course if your daughter family pools to your account you get double the status credits and the points too...

Thanks for the reminder. Yes pooled to my account so I got my daughters 573 points and SC's. Of course my points get the status bonus, so in actual fact I end up with the same points as my wife.
