Virgin Conditional Credits

I have finally received an email from a now cancelled Bali Flight in August and that I must use my credit almost $2000, to that value or higher. I find this Completely unreasonable considering no international travel and I could have to outlay further funds to rebook flights that may not occur.

What is everyone doing in this regard? Anyone successfully booked multiple flights?

There is an update on conditional credits - Virgin Australia will provide customers with a new credit to the value of travel credit balances for bookings made prior to the commencement of the voluntary administration period, including customers with Conditional Credits. Future Flight credits will be available for booking flights up to 31 July 2022 with travel valid until 30 June 2023.
