Flight SYD-MEL last night, the FA announced that they would be taking donations from passengers, and that Virgin would match all donations dollar for dollar. There was no pressure. Hostie walked down the aisle and of course many people put into the bag.

I will be curious to see the success... good luck, and well done

I think I saw something on another thread this afternoon about them already having raised $100,000 this week from donations from passengers and staff etc.:)

My EMB190 flight yesterday morning BNE-ADL raised $800, I persoanlly donated the $10 I would have spend on inflight foxtel!
