Virgin ends flights to/from Hamilton, NZ

This news is a little old and apologies if already posted. Virgin is withdrawing from the BNE HLZ route, the last flight will be the 27th of October.

I flew it a few months ago ... Not too surprising really as both legs were very lightly loaded.

My family use it fairly often, but clearly not often enough. Easy parking and an hour from home rather than 2.5 hours to Auckland. I wonder how NZ's Rotorua --> Sydney flights are going? It isn't frequent enough to be useful at the moment....
