Virgin International check in close

I’ve searched high and low but couldn’t find a definitive answer on the official check in close time for international flights. Unlike domestic flights where the cut off and recommended times are listed separately, Virgin “recommends” 90 minutes prior for International flights. But it doesn’t state the actual close time for international - Check-in | Virgin Australia

My understanding is 60 minutes prior for International flights departing from Australia or overseas. Can anyone confirm with an official Virgin website link or documentation?

My ticket says the same. But that information mirrors the “recommended” times on Virgin’s website. The official close for domestic is 30 minutes, which makes me think the official (undocumented) close for International is 60 minutes.

I could swear I’ve checked in for an International flight between 60-90 minutes in the past.

I’ve just received the 24 hour “check in now” email and here’s the official window!

International flights to/from Australia flights operated by Virgin Australia

1. Online check-in Currently unavailable, so head to the counter. 2. Customise your trip Want to purchase an upgrade, or book a hotel & car? 3. Bag check-in Ensure you drop your bag at least 45 mins before you fly 4. Boarding gates Opens 25 mins before flight take-off, be there ready to go!

45 minutes latest check in for an International flight! I wish they’d document that clearly on their website rather than some OLCI email - which you can’t do online.
