Just though I'd let you all know -- Virgin are running a promotion for a couple of months where 500,000 customers will get a 4K Velocity point bonus, as well as 1 month free with Virgin Mobile.

I am just chatting to them on livechat now as I'm interested in signing up to Virgin from Vodafoneand this is what they had to say.

It appears the higher paying plans are first priority on it, however it is still random.

To earn any VA points, you have to have Virgin Mobile postpaid.
They don't give any points (directly from Virgin Mobile) for Virgin Mobile prepaid.
